Annual Parochial Church Meeting and PCC Elections – 18th April

The Annual Meeting is a chance to review the past year, give thanks to God, think about the next year, ask questions and elect new members of the PCC.

Come any time from 7.15pm for tea/coffee.  The meeting will start with a time of worship at 7.45pm.

Would you be interested in serving on the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of Christ the King?

The PCC’s primary role is, with the vicar, to ‘consult together on matters of general concern and importance to the parish’ and to ‘cooperate in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.’ If you think God may be calling you, take a Nomination Form (back of the worship area or you can download a form below), speak to Rob or Eleanor, or to anyone currently on PCC (see photo board in Welcome Area or check here).

Nominations are required no later than April 17th, but earlier if possible. There are also 2 places available on Deanery Synod, which gives an automatic place on PCC.

It would be great to have a broad range of age, gender and experience. If you know someone who you think would make a great PCC member, why not encourage them to stand?
