Messy Church has been part of the CtK community since the Spring of 2019. Messy Church and its team have grown over the last year to serve many people. Recently we began Virtually Messy to enable our Messy Church family and friends to join in on-line with all that they love about Messy church in person. It premieres fortnightly on a Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm on the Christ the King YouTube Channel - please click the logo to join in.

When we can meet together again it's an All-Age interactive space or service for both children and adults to enjoy together. Every part aims to be accessible to anyone of any age.

Messy Church normally meets on the first Saturday of each Month from 4.00pm until 6.00pm (apart from August).

Please be aware that we aren't meeting in person, we are creating a Messy Church for our YouTube channel fortnightly.

Each time we meet there will be crafts, games, refreshments, songs, stories, and puppets. Each time there is a shared meal provided at the end of the afternoon. Best of all, all the activities and refreshments are provided free of charge.

Many of the resources we use for our Messy Church come from the Messy Church team. They have five core values and we have adopted them as they fit well with our own church values:

All-Age: Messy Church is for both adults and children to enjoy together. Every part aims to be relevant and accessible to all ages.

Jesus is at the centre of all we do and we hope that everyone that comes can encounter him and join in with his adventure.

Creativity: Messy Church seeks to reflect the creativity of God in its imaginative, hands-on approach each time it meets.

Hospitality: We want to welcome everybody to enjoy the hospitality of our Church family and unconditional Love of God. We want                     to show this through a good, home-cooked meal served to everyone free of charge every time we meet together.

Celebration: We want to show how much fun and joy are involved in being part of the community Jesus invites us to join so that                     we might have life in all its fullness.
