Supporting the project

Please consider prayerfully how you might support this project.

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can ensure that the tax on your gift amount is refunded as Gift Aid to the project by the UK tax office. Please consider doing this if appropriate.

One-off donations should be made direct to sort code 05-06-33, Account No 41060881, including your name and ‘gift-aid’ if appropriate. Please also complete and return the Gift Aid Form if the gift is eligible for Gift Aid

You can also give monthly specifically for the building project using this link Christ The King Building Fund - Parish Giving Scheme

If you have any questions about giving to CtK: Beyond These Walls  please contact Churchwarden Steve Atkins who will guide you about the best way(s) to give. Steve's contact details are in CTK Weekly - our regular church news-sheet.

August 2023

Thank you to everyone who helped to raise our current total of just over £535,000, which covers nearly all the estimated the cost of building the outer shell and roof of the annexe (total budget £580,000). We estimate that we then need to raise another £350,000 to complete the project. We also expect to be able to attract some grant funding.

December 2018

Thank you to everyone who helped to raise a Gift Day 1 total in excess of £96, 000.

July 2017
Everyone in the family of Christ the King Church is involved in this partnership. It is a project that impacts us all. On July 2nd we were all invited to consider prayerfully how much we could pledge to the project. As we launched Pledge Day to the congregation, by a combination of money already in the building fund, and pledges from members of the PCC, and factoring in Gift Aid, we have around £284, 000.

If you have not already received a leaflet and pledge form, please download them here and pray about your response.

There will be many ways in which we can all support the project over its life. Some of that support will depend on individual circumstances, but there is one thing that everyone can do immediately and that is to pray - pray for the Building Project Team, pray for the Staff Team, and pray for the whole church family as we embark on this exciting, but challenging project.
