The Parochial Church Council (PCC) forms the legal Trustees of the Church of Christ the King. At the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), held in March or April each year, church members vote for those they wish to represent them from amongst those nominated for PCC. The PCC meets monthly and it is responsible for structural and strategic decisions on behalf of the wider church community. Some members also fulfil other roles within the CtK family and wider Church of England groups and structures (e.g. DEF, Deanery & Diocesan Synods).
Our APCM is coming up at 7.30pm on Wednesday 13th May. If you are on our electoral role you are able to vote at the APCM, as well as stand for PCC, Deanery Synod or Church Warden if you feel that God is calling you to do so. Role descriptions and a nomination form are available below.
If you'd like to
remain on the role, you don't need to do anything. Simply update us if there are any changes to your personal details such as address, email or phone number. You can check these on the printed copy which is on display in the church building for the next few weeks.
If you wish to be
added to the electoral role, please complete the form that is available in the church building, by April 28th.
If you wish to be
removed from the electoral role, please email the office (office@ctk.org.uk) to let us know, or cross your name out on the printed list. We hope you'll join us on 13th May as we look back at the past year, giving thanks for all God has done and towards the year ahead with expectancy for all he will do in us and through us for his glory.
