Annual Church Meeting
Annual Parochial Church Meeting and PCC Elections – 9th May
The APCM is a chance to review the past year, give thanks to God, think about the next year, ask questions & elect new members of the PCC. Come any time from 7.15pm for tea/coffee. The meeting will start with worship at 7.30pm.
Would you be interested in serving on the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of Christ the King?
The PCC’s primary role is, with the Vicar, to ‘consult together on matters of general concern and importance to the parish’ and to ‘cooperate in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.’
The church Annual Report
can be accessed here.
The Children and Families section of the report (which is incomplete in the original document) can be found HERE
If you think God may be calling you, take a Nomination Form (HERE
), speak to Rob, or to anyone currently on PCC. Nominations are required no later than 8th May, but it helps greatly with the process to have them sooner if possible.
It would be great to have a broad range of age, gender and experience. If you know someone who you think would make a great PCC member, why not encourage them to stand?
